What Is the Power Window System Trainer Used For?
A power window system raises and lowers each door glass with an electric motor; the master switch at the driver's door can work every window, while each slave switch works only its own door. On the trainer, students operate the switches and watch the 4 window motors respond, then use the terminal block receptacles to measure signals, resistance, voltage, current and frequency around the circuit. The instructor can lock up to four faults into the fault box, and students compare their readings with the diagram to find each one; the central door locking is worked from the same training platform.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of power window trainers needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many windows does the trainer operate?
It is a four-door trainer with 4 window motors, worked from master and slave switches, so the complete power window system of a car can be shown.
What can be measured at the test points?
Terminal block receptacles and detection terminals give test points for checking the electric signals, resistance, voltage, current and frequency of the circuit components.
Does the trainer include central door locking?
Yes, central door locking can be operated along with the electric window switches to show the working process of both systems.
What power does it require?
An external 12V DC power supply is needed to run the window motors and switches, and a user manual comes with the trainer.
What is the trainer made of?
It is made of organic glass with aluminium rims, carries an automobile door system and measures approx. 600 × 600 × 300 mm, weighing about 25 kg.
