What Is the Flexure Testing Machine Electrical Cum Hand Operated Used For?

Flexural strength tests load a concrete beam in bending until it breaks, and the failure load is converted to a modulus of rupture used in the design of pavements and slabs. With this machine the operator switches on the electrically-cum-hand-operated pumping unit and selects slow or fast loading with the lever, or works the hand pumping unit when hand operation is preferred, while watching the load on the 0–100 kN gauge. If the load reaches the overload limit, the micro switch and relay inside the gauge act to protect the unit.
